People knit together in love

And attaining e'en unto all

The riches of the full

Assurance of understanding

Which the true gospel brings

 

So that people may have knowledge

And may see, envisage

The mystery of God, open

Secret unto all men* (*mankind)

 

Mystery of God, Father, Son

Christ is the Son, the One

Sent from above that people know

Salvation, in Him grow

 

In Him are hid all the treasures

Of wisdom, true pleasures

And all the treasures of knowledge

    This 'mystery' means 'open secret'. Maybe seeming contradictory. If a secret is open, is it a secret? But the gospel message was kept secret from past ages, not fully revealed until New Testament days, which we are in now.

      The similarity of titles leaves the tags to differentiate by the use of my tag of a brain, lol. I suppose preeminence is a preeminent thing, your eminence. And the mystery is in the revelation- it having to be revealed by faith from the self-revealing One. The category is quite mission minded.

        It just followed on in my Bible with the same title as yesterday. I would have been worn out posting 12 verses all in one day! (Part A with 7 verses yesterday; Part B with 5 verses today).
        99% of all wisdom is to be found in Fido! lol.
