Tune: Helmsley
('Lo, He comes with clouds descending')
Luke 21 v.25-28
Hint: Words in italics have longer musical notes,
usually the 5th syllable of lines 1 and 3 of each Verse.
***********
Jesus said, There be signs appearing
When His return is nearing
Signs in sun, and moon, and stars too
Which we humans here shall view
On earth distress
On earth distress
On earth distress
There be troubles, we confess
Distress of nations, they perplexed
Sea and the waves roaring vexed
people's hearts failing them for fear
Christ's second coming draws near
Look, observe things
Look, observe things
Look, observe things
That this great Day* to each brings (*The Day of the Christ's return)
Powers of heaven shall be shaken
Son of man shall be seen then
Coming in cloud with great glory
Majestic scene it shall be
Faith turned to sight
Faith turned to sight
Faith turned to sight
He the believers delight
And when these things begin to happen
Look up, lift up your heads then
For your redemption, it draws nigh
God's promise kept, no deny
Christ and His people
Christ and His people
Christ and His people

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem for Advent in 8.7.8.7.8.7 format. Rather a tricky and grandiose tune. I've helped here with some hints. I feel it rises to a grand finale, when with Christ believers 'Fly to Rapture eternal'.

One, a guest from abroad, said to me 'See you in the Rapture, if I don't see you before then'. I thought 'Yes, I suppose so - I'm sure so!'
signs - moon - they - them - shall - with - begin - it
a returning reality the rapture is
an italic emphases, gateway of eternity
Thanks CB. I only put some words in italics to help ya sing it, as it's rather a tricky tune, I think. No secret code in it. I wish they wouldn't call me da Vinci (the da Vinci code - humbug, I say!) lol.
Unless - staggers back at my dazzling wisdom - I wrote from my subconscious unaware of this pattern.
It's got too deep now - got a headache thinking too much! heehee. 'Oh, think a bit more, man, says Fido to me; use ya nut (brain)!'
Yah Orcz just mucking about is all!
Yet there could be something deeper in the italic words you picked out.
The heavens declare and from the mouth of babes and all that... there is something when we allow ourselves to see and hear!
Thanks Da Vinci (?), erm, CB!
No coding here or painting... hahaha
We're gonna fly away....... bye!!
A wonderful message of hope, that the chaos of this world is transient, as are we.
Thanks Bella.
Well done, Orchi.
Better hurry and have my fried chicken.
Thanks Jerry.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
