Ascending Aspirings

Tune: Unter Herrschen

('Come ye faithful, raise the anthem')

Psalm 24 parts

********

The earth is the Lord's, its fulness

And all therein, He does bless

He founded it upon the seas

Formed each thing as He did please

Who shall ascend to the Lord's hill

To worship Him with good will?

Ascend His hill to His temple

Contained within temple wall

Who shall stand in His holy place?

Nations, folk of every race

They that have clean hands and pure heart

Who from His ways not depart

And they who have not been vain to

Worship idols, them not view

And they who have not deceit done

But they be honest, each one

They shall receive the Lord's blessing

Righteousness, and each good thing

The God of their salvation shall

Give them good things, they fare well

This the generation of they

That do seek His face alway

Open gates of temple, welcome

King of glory to His home

Omg wth, sorry, the response was cut short, it continued as follows:
"I especially like the way you mentioned the Ascension, being that my pastor dedicated an entire sermon to just that yesterday. Your words are precise and impactful, thanks so much Orchi, have a blessed day!"
