I will not be posting anymore on this site, if you are interested in more of my poetry please find my works on Amazon @ Ok Waleed. Thank you.

Thankfully

I don’t need a microscope

to see you

my eyes show me

your glitter and glam

I wonder

sometimes what else

can you can do

For this

Body of mine

Cellular studies have always fascinated me.
I love biology, and one of my favorite books talks about the first immortal human cells: "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks."
Long story short, a woman's cancerous cells were take without consent, the thief made a mint off of them, and her family can barely afford health insurance to this day...despite her cells being the key to many of our modern breakthroughs. Truly quite the tragic irony.
    Anyways, love this poem.

Those floaters can show the dark side but they can also bring light, follow the light.
