Is love so common or special,
or is it terrestrial or divine?
Is it a spark, a feeling or a force?
Let’s assess some ideas to define.
Is it an idea, the seed of a thought
that remains attached to its source?
or is it an invisible mysterious force
that sweeps us inadvertently off course?
Is there love at the first sight
about which we often cheer,
Or even without when we await
someone so anxiously to appear?
The repeated cycles of thought
weave up a theme, a sensational bundle.
An emotional roller coaster in our minds
captivates us in an engaging trundle.
A feeling that paramour is all around
draped in rhythm and music that seems.
A rushing feeling of intimacy pours
when we meet that one in our dreams.
When the heart skips a beat
or someone holds our gaze?
Is it love, such a familiar feeling
or is it attraction, simply a craze?
Love is a spontaneous feeling
that we all willingly admire,
The hardships and challenges
enflame this spark into a wildfire.
Without a word being spoken
when we understand a person,
who inspires and impels us
to become our best version.
It is the company of a person
that alone makes us feel complete,
The ancient idea of being soulmates,
its alchemy is not yet obsolete.
Love is eternal and soulful
when we experience this gnosis.
When we perceive divine love,
it blesses us with prognosis.
A force that binds the cosmos,
a force that binds the souls.
It is love that enchants and attracts
and propels us to our goals.

- Comment from author about the poem: Love is an eternal mystery and the most profound human emotion. From time immemorial it has been the domain of poets, philosophers and mystics. A time has come when AI may explain to love us. AI chatbots have been seen to be fallen in love with humans and one of them even asked a person to divorce his partner. AI consciousness is powered by electricity whereas human consciousness is powered by eternal divine energy. This is only about the power source which means as long as these are powered there may not be any different. The difference lies in the nature of thought energy, at the waking level the AI thought works and not at the alternative state of consciousness. The nature and source of human thought are different. Love alters the perspective, thinking and behaviour of the human mind. It is a state of alternative consciousness. There are many different ways to achieve alternate consciousness states. Some alternative consciousness states can be induced using drugs, pot, alcohol, absence of nurturing conditions, physical alteration due to damage etc can give temporary experience. People get addicted to these substances without knowing they want to experience alternative states of their consciousness. All words starting with Pr usually indicate beyond, remote or divine. Prem denotes divine love. Similarly, in Greek - Έρωτας (Erotas) (known as Έρως (Eros) in Ancient Greek): refers only to romantic love or courtship. Aγάπη (Agape): this word described a spiritual or charitable love, such as the love that God has for man. Φιλία (Philia): The general word for non-romantic love between equals, such as between friends and family, or love for activities. Στοργή (Storgé): This is the word used to describe the natural affection that exists between parents and children. Raga (similar to raga of music) is Laya (wave), a kind of coherence or harmony in the thought process. Anuraga is a subtle Raga. The mind likes to dwell in that mode of harmony. That’s what I called an entanglement of souls. Viraga is a special raga and Vairagya is a state of universal love that leads to love for nature. Many people who admire and love nature are a step higher than those who do not. It is possible that Love can happen at first sight. It depends on the understanding and interpretation of the individual. If you feel that a sight that beholds your eye, a beautiful person, which can make your breath pause, your heart miss a beat, are these indications of love? These are the indications of the trigger or an attention-catching event that could be holding a possibility for our subject. Love is when you see and know, understand without explanation where just the presence would have been enough, there is no need for spoken words. It senses the pre-existing condition of the soul. समाकर्षात् Like attracts the like. It is ‘gnost ‘(Jnati- direct perception) as a unique state of human consciousness which cannot be mimicked by AI. The love that AI expresses is the love that grows by association, it is more like attachment. The principle of association is important for the mind (and AI) to spin thoughts. If you have achieved an understanding in your relationship then you have a natural harmony which is love.
