You
We were created for each other.
In the barest history we were lovers.
Through the ages of darkness. . . we shined
and over bridges of time, I became your champion.
The enlightenment thought our hearts believed.
Today, we are one.
Tomorrow, I will love you. . . Always
from the birth of time until infinity dies.
You are my most inner soul.
In the long ago you were my fantasy.
Through time’s passages you have called:
My myth, my siren, my secret phantom
and for centuries, my vision.
Only yesterday, you became wishful thinking.
Now, you are the bliss of my solitude.
Tomorrow, you will be loved. . . Always;
forever my muse, my wife
and my only inspiration.
I could not survive in that black place
where your hope does not exist.
Could not breathe if your telltale scent did not stir.
Would choose blindness to a world without your upstairs music
and deafness to a song without your love.
Tonight, I could not bear the clash of hearts without your tenderness.
Tomorrow, I will give you all my love…. Always;
from the birth of our star to the dying of the Sun.
Eternally, you’re my all and everything.
Without you, I would be lost in the most obvious places
and feel alone amongst crowds of friends.
Would get crushed under sentimental debris
during the quiet times.
At night I’d be sad, like the funniest of clowns, empty at the core
always wanting more, never knowing why or what for.
In the present, my heart would be senseless without your love.
In the future, my heart will be yours forever.
You are the reason I live.
Without you . . . I would surely die.
