Our World Today

The priest is a pervert

The policeman is a criminal

The clown is a serial killer

The politician is a grifter

The poet is a crazy drunk

The minister is a con man

The model is anorexic

The children are targets

The senator refuses to take action

The Imam is a terrorist

The baseball player doesn’t speak English

The teacher’s books have been banned

The doctor is under threat of arrest

The gun dealer is a model citizen

The Speaker of the House must ask permission

The elected representative isn’t who he says he is

The colleges are on lock down

The lawyers are in jail

The Judge is on vacation

😂 Good to laugh Phil, otherwise.... Large parts of your picture can be pasted on a few places I can think of (no names...) partly because they feel impelled to slavishly follow 'the greatest economy in the world.'

Do you mean China? Seriously, some of this will fit other countries as well, but all of it together is a slice of Americana. Thanks for your comments, Dave.

      so pinpoint, acute
      especially:
'The gun dealer is a model citizen'
      (people seldom realise, just
how many guns are in circulation
      in USA
and how such a small percentage
      create all the issues
and yet, how the very existence
      of all those decent citizens
      that practice safe gun handling
      and ownership, processes
      keep the government, from getting
      too ambitious...)
      an important write, dear Poet
