The Heartbeat Of The Universe.

Goldfinch60

You can feel it all around,

That gentle pulse that runs through our lives,

The joy that it gives to those who care.

Wherever we are it is there;

The beauty of nature abounds

As we stroll through its vast imagery.

The wonder of space as we look to the stars,

The rhythm is always there,

Comforting us.

It can be found in music,

As the sounds enter our ears

It can set our hearts in time with its beat.

The pace quickens as you have loved ones

Sharing the moments with you.

Love is always there,

The love of all things,

As love is the heartbeat of the Universe.

          such lovely wording, dear Poet
(any chance you know what film those scenes were taken from
they have such a classic, moody
          vibe
          lol)

I'm not so sure love helps the pulse, but sugar makes it wild!

That pulse is your healing power. Move it everywhere and shed your pain.

This poem is beautiful by the way.

I see love as a far greater force than what any dictionary would describe it as. Vague and hard to describe but nature yes. A wonderful write Gold.

Dear friend you found the sweetest spot in my heart with this poem, one of my favorite songs coupled with your beautiful verse. The emotion was building as I read, and when I got to the last three lines the tears were just there, and they felt so good. I remember seeing Love Is A Many Splendored Thing years ago, and it has always been the quintessential love story for me. Thank you for triggering such welcome memories.

Great words Andy. Love the comparison to the "heartbeat of the Universe." Music transcends the boundaries of our Earth.
And then you added "Love" to the mix. Can I get an Amen? Words of wisdom, Andy. - Phil A.

Stupendous, dear poet! I couldn’t agree more. Earth’s love towards its inhabitants is manifested through nature and song. I adore your words!
