Jerry Reynolds

In the catacombs’ of hearts
Storms from yesterday
Endanger today
Threatening tomorrow

Good words but as I say, I got up this morning so it will be a good day.

      love this marriage of art
      and inked poetic wisdom, Jerry
      your painting, defines
      that existential conundrum, starkly!
      to me
(all that hope imbued, brooding sky and promise
      of heavenly universe above us
      while below
      is that shark infested sea
      of cyclic strife and chaos
      then
      there's that shard of posterity
      sand, just to the right
as our inherited island of mercy
      a plank of cruel destiny
or a salvation path, as validation
      of our worth..)
      Brilliant!
      (please forgive my uncultured ass
if I've interpreted it all wrong
      my friend)

        Thanks, L.B.
You are on to me. I do use seascapes to show the battle between good and evil.
        Your visit is much appreciated.
