Shyless Rose.
Rose, thou art a sea of fervent serenity.
Thy gown over-sewn with velvet redolence
adorns preparation of petal-sweet nectar
in folds of coveted message.
Desire pervades like unction's therapy.
May the morrow's wed-oil regale thy bedding
as thou maid in finery wait shyless and scented
with aroma headily drenched.
Thus be thee then readied for oneness
and smelling of love
So arrive timely Sir gallant Knight with
ardour uncovered.

- Comment from author about the poem: Having just read and reviewed a verse on shy females here is a piece of resurrected but edited lyrical tribute to one who is shyless. Hope readers enjoy.

Beautiful pic, beautiful poem. Makes me want to dream of fair maids and knights in shining armor.
Beautiful words Fay, May Sir Gallant Knight take her to Paradise.

And those shy roses have the sharpest thorns-my grand dame roses in the garden are specially prickly this year- thanks for the pretty poem poet friend-
I cherish your style, dear Fay, and now suddenly and too belatedly begin to wonder whether your pen name is deliberately poetic. Charming and exquisitely seductive.
A wonderful metaphoric poem with rose intertwined with a woman in a fine abstract way. Kudos to this sublime muse expressed.
