If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. On sea on land in the air. It’s like a continuum , a rainbow if not exactly a dream ( and it might be) is at least a stand in gif one type, or a metaphor for all types, or the grandest of all?, the ultimate promise of all we could ask and at it end we look to the realms where a more humble wish lives?
Anyway, I liked it. You are too cool and that is true very often. Dig!!! Miles Davis also gets that same review. Hallowed ground.

But ( although I disagreed) even Miles got that review from Stanley Crouch that blasted Bitches Brew with acerbic commentary , of course , the little known musicians so viscerally attacked by the reknown critic turned into the list of Who’Who in jazz forthe next 30years. It’s and interesting read of a gigantic miss and a captivating list of then mostly unknown artists. I believe it’s an easy find w a google search.
