That Shakespearean touch redeems Brevity Is the Soul of Wit but I hover mostly under Twain’s exacting retort
“If I had more time I would write a shorter letter”
Once again s pleasured Requite is mine as your energetic energy stimulates connection. Hope the best is yours as you Conquer , my friend.

perhaps i am reading too far into this- but the poem could go two very different directions. you found a beautiful flower and became quite taken with it- or fleur can mean a blossom. and picking it ending a life before it truly began. the duality of poetry at its finest. is it beautiful or sorrowful? either way it is a fantastic write.

            Brilliant!
            (nature's beauty, cut short
            by cruelty of life's poetry
or a heart, pricked by thorns
            yet gentle as rose petals
            poetic form as a caging
            of reality's artistic chaos
            syllables, handcuffed
            so our creativity may soar
            ...free)
