No Rules for All
Here,
where there are
no rules
anything goes ..
Today though
I wonder,
if I dared to rest
my head
against your gold
ankle chain ..
You, might let me
place it there ..
Time
and time again
my friend ..
Since here where
there are
no rules at all ..
It seems
that anything goes
but oh’ so
very slow indeed ..
Except for
time itself which
marches
on regardless ..

True words Neville, respect has disappeared from our world.

Dignity, self respect and respect for others seem to be in the past. Mind you I like the idea of the ankle chain bit!
I know precisely where you are coming from sir .. & twas very tasty indeed Michael ..
KP rests her head against my gold ankle chain. She's conned me into thinking that's what it is, but it's a ball and chain really. lol.
maybe she's trying to drown thee ..
Rules sometimes are made to be broken, and sometimes depending on the situation we should be able to move or pause time. thought provoking my dear Nev. β€οΈ

A sexy write? Swoon!
A little repartee (bit of French there. lol) and banter with friends, but never any 'excitement' with Fido around. I will put him in the back garden a while.
sounds like a plan
Can ya bit a bit of repartee?
Sometimes no rules is just a mirror reflection of no one rules. Thanks N for the deep thoughts.

I'd vote for no rules.... in certain strictly defined situations....

Love and time, the two things that can't be bought, but only spent, One "marches on," the other waits for the right time.
I think you've said a lot here in a few words. - Phil A.

Brilliant!
(be it that red string of fate
or golden chains of chance
linking our ankles to paths
we were destined to share
with those, we eventually
come to realise
mean more to us, than those
we've been conditioned
to think of as family
forcedly..
yet
once free, of our inherited
influences
it's so clear to see, we
get to choose, who we share
our life with
making the most of our
ephemeral lives, unapologetically)
so much more than merely muchly appreciated Mek .. N
