We met for the last time,
The last time this term.
The choir gathered and celebrated,
Celebrated our success
Of the wonderful concert we had sung,
Sung a few days before.
We had sang our hearts out,
The audience enjoyed it so much
Everyone was smiling,
Smiling and so thankful,
Thankful for the music,
The music we had sung.
We sat around and talked,
Talked, ate and drunk
Discussing the choir,
The wonderful choir we had.
We went back home
Enthralled by our joy
And could not wait
Until we gathered again,
Gathered again and sang,
Sang our hearts out for the joy,
The joy of music.

A fine write and singing Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
I love the love you grab from art. Nice write. And the sense of that choir grew in stature for me. The Finch is a keeper.
Thank you Bobby, all kinds of art are special to me especially music.

Young man, I think you tweak me cuz you like supper clubs?
I do like the 'young man' bit, I am 75 in October.

I got no proof. My evidence is that agile dance with words that belie age from the youthful mind that commands a prose with savior faire devil may care abandon and providence. 1958 and up is my musical journey and I hope to reach to finally understand Charles Mingus.
shows how much you all must have practised
just lovely
so happy for you Andy, but
do you get to keep your parking space
lol
Thank you Mek. Yes I get there early enough to set things up in the Church so I get my parking space. LOL
