Two ladies met in a bar
They sat there drinking their wine,
One said to the other
“You have had you hair done?
It looks so cute”
“Yes” the other one said
“Do you think so, I wasn’t sure”
“It is perfect, I’d like my hair to look like yours”
“Are you serious, yours is adorable
And always looks good in the way it is cut,
I was going to get mine cut like yours
But it would not suit my long neck”
“I love you long neck,
It’s better than my wide shoulders”
“I would love to have your shoulders
Everything drapes so well from them”
Two men met in a bar
Sat their drinking their beer,
One said “Haircut?”
The other one said “Yeah.”

- Comment from author about the poem: The video is of another lady jazz pianist that I had never heard of until this morning, why were these ladies never been heard of, I have been listening to jazz all my life but never heard of her until today - how many more are there out there?

Good write Gold. lol. Have we any wigs, you and I, being very old?
Some may discuss the rugs they wear on their heads.
No I have no wigs, you used to wear them though when you were eating your pork pies Orchi.

I warned them they couldn't trust Trumpton Barnet with his dodgy hairstyle!
That pretty well sums up the differences between the male and female sex.
Thank you soren, it is just the way we are, or some seem to be.

One makes for a more interesting time while the other a more companionable presence.
Very true CB.

Once again, as I was reading, I couldn't help but anticipate a zinger of a punchline, and once again you did not disappoint. It's always that sudden burst of laughter at the last line that sticks with me. I also love the music that accompanys, I agree these ladies are sadly overlooked. It's a fav!
If I can make you laugh or anybody laugh Bella I feel that I have made you happy.
