Rock For Heroes.

Goldfinch60

What a band!

A rock band?

One I would normally ignore

But I was hooked,

Hooked by their phenomenal playing.

The time went so quickly,

And a time that was so meaningful.

They played for us,

And they played for heroes.

Such a vast array of numbers

Many I knew and many I didn’t,

As it is not my kind of music.

But this band took my breath away,

I just could not stop rocking,

Rocking all evening.

I will give them my greatest accolade,

I would see them again!

  • Comment from author about the poem: The band we saw last night was called Rock for Heroes. They play for the organisation Help for Heroes and collect donations for that worthy cause. Their musicianship is so phenomenal and I would go and see them again.

Mr Finch, I hope you danced. Either way, as we have churned tween us before, our souls are fed by magical notes and when Hero’s honored is also gained then magic did the dancing for all
