When somebody passes seasons appear,
When they pass a frozen Winter seems never to end,
But then Spring thaws the land bringing a promise,
A promise of Summer.
That’s when the memories return,
The good ones that you thought had died.
Then there comes Autumn,
A time of letting go,
A time when you start to forget again.
But we must realise
That without an ending in life
There can be no new beginning,
That is Nature’s way.

It’s such a beautiful way to churn through certain realities. It’s a piece I’ve copied to my notes and is worthy to disperse. May I share with my friends on platforms outside this forum with you fully accredited and simply described as my friend ?
Thank you Bobby. Yes by all means share it.

It must be my Autumn now. Has KP gone? I don't recognise her with all that botox. lol.
Thanks Orchi.
Really great that you have travelled that journey, Andy.
So very true Dave. Thank you.

it gets easier, but not better .. the truth is out .. 💛
True but in my case now it is as good as it was Neville.

Oh how beautiful!! I think sadness can become a form of fuel...for some...in time. Especially if it was someone very close! The attached video goes perfectly! Very nice Andy! 💛
Thank you LIZ, much appreciated.

your poetry made my pulse stutter
her voice made my eyes water
what a beautiful page of cathartic artistry, Andy
(both of them would be proud
one by your side, gifting you smiles
and your cherished one who went on ahead...)
Brilliant!
thank you
Such very kind words Mek, thank you so much.
Andy
So true Gold everything has a beginning and end and there can not be one without the other. In fact one is only the beginning of the other or rather the end of the other.
Very true soren, thank you.
Andy
Such clear truth to this piece as it speaks of the changes of the seasons, the departures and the re-births. Beautiful writing
Most kind Pop64, much appreciated.

Your analogy of the seasons, in coping with the stages of loss, is priceless. This poem is sweet, touching and above all healing. I listened the music as I read, and it only intensified the depth of your words. Beautiful my friend!
Thank you so much for your kind words Bella, very much appreciated.
