Accumulations

Neville

Accumulations

He, being a poet

and a collector of new words,

old stamps and gold coins ..

Just as she,

being adorable, collects new lovers,

bad losers and fools ..

While together,

they collected moments,

made love and changed history ..

LOL I read this a few times and each time it got more and more fabulous although she sounds like a man eater i do love the last stanza, nothing wrong with changing history makes it all a bit more exciting. I had a chuckle darling Nev. ❤️

this is the glue, that never makes it movie scenes
            or poetry's verse
the ugly in the bonds that carry us
            from disaster to
our dreamed Perhaps of a better
a blink and history is redrafted
            that's all it takes
            may that never change...
            (Brilliant! Hyung
            loved every minute of reading
            your poems this week)
            thank you!

History…that’s wot they woz…they’ve been well analyzed above, so who am I to intervene?
Now provided… no, listen Neville – provided you can absolutely guarantee that this pair of incompatible sillies are history, then I can depart, knowing I’ve done the best I can and so on, etc…….
PS: you are getting a little slow off the starting blocks here. What's going on?

              • Neville

both my knee and my pen are playing up .. sorry ..

Wow, this is a complete detailed story in very few verses. Wonderfully clear and quite imaginative (though more than likely true). Very well done!

                • Neville

thank you Michael .. once or twice I have written about serial killers .. it don't make me one tho .. it's the imagination you see, sometimes it just gets the better of me .. Neville

                  Very nice Mr. Neville.
