So Much More Than A Madness

 

Without antecedents

we have nothing,

but can still choose what

   we want us to be ..

I know how to starve,

to deny

   and to punish myself ..

But refuse

to eat rainbows or play

   silly leaving games ..

I just need to know

how many resurrections

we are each

   allowed these days ..

Without feeling

   something missing inside ..

I really need to be

famous you see, for the

remaining fifteen

   minutes, left of today ..

      I never knew it was 11.45pm now - eh?! 15 mins left.
      I was famous in my life for 15 mins (so far). KP was famous for all of her life except 15 seconds - so she says.

        there are certain types of May fly that are reputed to live for only around thirty seconds .. just imagine what they have to cram into their entire lifetime ..
