Nature Reminds Me

Thomas W Case

I don't
understand why
my mind
drifts to thoughts
of you, in the
spring when I'm
alone in the woods.
The dew is on the
grass, and the small
flowers begin to
bud, the petals
slippery and wet,
glistening in the
morning
sun.
The birds sing
their symphonies of
praise, and the trees,
erect and strong, reach
to the waiting sky.
The rain shoots
down, and I
rest.

Ooh. You've stirred my mind. This must be a strong love you speak of. I'm searching for that woman who gets me musing these thoughts. Booyah

Nice write. I’m gonna blame my latest EXPLICIT piece for this mindset but I took the erecting trees and the shooting comment as obvious declaration you want to have sex with this girl !!??!
