I haven't forgotten, it's still heavy now. The tears, the anxiety, the anger, the frowns. 

 

Yes, I remember, how you bailed me out. Your words, your touch, each soothing sound. 

 

I haven't forgotten when I was left out. Everyone ran, but YOU stayed around!

 

Oh I remember, and I have no doubt; it's your love and presence, I can't live without!!

    Everyone ran but you stayed around. That’s a forever attachment and I believe however deep the appreciation is from the start , it will grow as the heroic nature of being shown that loyalty stands more and more apart from those that didn’t stay and try to pass off insufficient reason as they still grasp for your friendship. They continue to be shallow and never realize you know and that defines and the choice of staying rises high and rinds deep Everest next to the canyon. And their tied and the same snd you have a hero

                What a beautiful piece of poetry, loved your first stanza it's rhyme is perfect, Lizzy, I always feel it from the heart, which is where it indeed comes from.
