You Got The Time?

orchidee



You got the time there?

Is it a quarter past Spring

Half past Summer

Or a quarter to Winter?

 

I dunno what day it is

What week, year, or century even!

That'll teach me to post

Easter theme poems in November

 

Now ya knows I can't post Ch....... poems

Or say the word until December

Or Goldfinch will shoot me!

 

The only word I hear

A million times a day

Well, two words actually - from KP

Is 'More botox!'

 

I got no money, ya know

She's spent it all on looking trout-like

She don't care about Ch.....

Or any other season of the year

All she does is spend it

On 'me, me, me!

 

I pays her compliments

Dunno what the fuss is

Each morning I tells her

'You're looking lovely and more trout-like each day, my dear!'

 

And Fido agrees

He helped me write this poem. lol

                  No I don't seem to have the time, my watch is broken , but it is getting closer to the day our Savior was born, but first we have Thanksgiving, with all the turkey, stuffing, greenbean casseroles, sweet potatoes,
                  But my favorite is the , yep you guessed it, PIE !!!
