Don’t Suppose You Remember

Neville

Don’t Suppose You Remember

I don’t suppose,

for a single

moment after

   all these years ..

You still recall

a series

of otherwise

insignificant

   coincidences ..

All of which,

I hasten to add

occurred

within a micro

second, or less

of me

calling out your

   name ..

If it helps at all,

it was

the very same

day I talked

to a wall

   about our love ..

And I swear

that it heard me

   but blindly ..

That was when

a dream catcher

caught you

and the wind

chimes

   chimed for me ..

Utterly beautiful. Isn’t it strange that seconds can make all the difference to whether on our journey through life., we meet someone special. Wind chimes have such a spiritual sound to me. I have both bamboo and metal ones. Quite different sounds. Sometimes joyful, other times sorrowful. Always memorable though. Gorgeous poetry Neville.

          and the wind chimes
          chimed for me

That gives me a feeling of sadness rather than joy and then again happiness rather than sadness.

In the parlance of happenstance a great plan is to love when it comes together.
