Another Christmas has passed,
The New Year approaches
And we hope it will be a good year.
Could it be a time of peace?
A time of peace and love in our world.
Perhaps it will come
But the leaders of our world
Seem to have no idea,
They just want things for themselves
And not for those who elected them.
Maybe we should all become Hippies,
“Make love not war”.
If that were to happen
The world would be wonderful,
But maybe it is only in my dreams,
So I just dream on.

You bring to the front such logic and it mirrors exactly the thought process I subscribe to. Throw in a song by the man in Black and how cool is that.

I believe if we want to change the world (and we can), all (big call) we have to do is change ourselves.
For if we were to judge ourselves we wouldn't be judged.
