Accidental Poet



 

When the world around you

Seams so depressing

And all your troubles

Surround you so upsetting

Smile anyway

 

When work is unbearable

Too heavy a workload

Remember to share its weight

Some other time to be a hero

Smile anyway

 

If in the morning rain

You hear not a bird sing

And you sadly frown

With your bank account dwindling

Smile anyway

 

As your love

Sadly, says good-bye

Leaving you in despair

Without a reason why

Smile anyway

 

With a sudden flutter

Your silent phone rings

A voice from your past

With a smile your heart jingalings

Smile anyway

 

In time you will see

How life balances out

And the good comes with bad

Part of what life’s all about

Smile anyway
