Lavished
Here, where all my prime colours
are almost spent
and pastels lay abundant but in
complete disarray ..
I crouch in the shadows and shade
awaiting the pleasure
I imagine your brush stroke shall
eventually deliver ..

May that brush stroke be filled with beauty and love Neville.
Andy
my word sir, you are an early bird this mane .. and how very kind you are too ..
I'm gonna paint KP - do a portrait of her - hang it in the 'Horror' section of the Gallery. lol.
without doubt, you are most definitely the most predictable guineapig I have ever encountered
You knows I'm gonna say summat 'orrible about KP - daily, if I can. Ooh, I loves it! Squeak squeak! lol.
Well here another fine feather in your cap N. You just never run out of exquisite ink to dip your talented quill.ππ
You are far too kind my friend .. and I .. as always, am terribly grateful .. ππ
terribly grateful? No such thing. Grateful is any reader to find your pages. ππ
Get that palette out and ready and your brushes cleaned. Each stroke of your brush caressing the canvas with love. Good glorious sunny day Neville, although freezy cold. Wrap up warm.
I have just brushed off an age of dust from my easel & hope to embark again real soon on what was essentially my first love .. that of painting and drawing .. thanks for the encouragement our Cassie & the sound advice .. Neville
Far more to this poem than meets the eye at first.
.................................................... Aye lass ππ
Will all those brush strokes be enough for a mural? Another double-sided masterpiece. I kept looking for the other meaning until I read some of your replies to comments. Good luck on the new endeavor. - Phil A.

and you my friend are far too generous & kind .. thank you so much for your heart-warming & otherwise encouraging review note .. Neville ππ
How clever ? The Canvas becomes a character with various degrees of depth and function. Versatility and Anthropomorphization combined
You can beat an egg, carpet and drum but you just can't beat a bit of anthropomorphization .. so there's no point trying to beat about the bush, is there .. Cheers Bobby & stick with the beat bro π·π΅πΆπΆπ΅
Just like Dobie Gray
So artful Neville! It portrays a portrait still appreciated by the artist secretly, in some dark and obscure gallery-your work always gets my imagination going, and thatβs not an easy task
You got me P and I am most grateful for that .. Thank you so very much .. Neville
