As I look to tomorrow
How will I look back on today?
Will I see it in the same light?
Will it help me find my way?
Yesterday is now gone
In the books it is said
But still, it lingers
Deep in the depths of my head
How much longer
Can I go on like this?
Wondering what will become of me
Is there something I missed?
Like an hourglass
The time passes by
Each grain of sand
Of when, how and why
I know, I know
Don’t overthink it
But it’s in the glass
And I’m inclined to drink it
Cause that’s what I do
I think till I’m drunk
Till I can’t think anymore
And my head goes kaplunk

KP makes my head go kaplunk! lol.
Why don't you sing to her Orchi? π΅βπ«
Yes - it will torture her. lol.
Yes, Iβm an over thinker too and thatβs why Iβm an insomniac. I reflect on everything. Canβt help it. Thatβs the way my brain is wired and likely to stay. Your posted music though, is nice and relaxing. Good morning AP. Have a great Thursday.
Thanks Cassie. Good morning to you too, and I hope your Thursday serves you well. π
Please excuse my bad manners. I omitted to mention, apart from relating to your poem, it was beautifully penned π
All is good Cassie. Thank you. ππ
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Well, I wouldn't say evil, but just thinking how too quickly the days go by. Thanks 2781. π€
I am quite sure if the truth be known there are many of us out here who think along similar lines .. this is a very sensitive, self disclosive & insightful lament .. but be sure I am with you write to the end sir ... Neville

Now I'm confused. This must be how Orchi feels. π€
