Accidental Poet



 

Inspiration comes in many ways

Showing up in all kinds of art

But my favorite of all

When it comes from the heart

 

When love is so strong

It compels the heart to sing

Sing out with passion

Oh, such a beautiful thing

 

I might be a man of shyness

Not one for center stage

But when it comes to my love

My best efforts I’ll engage

 

For she makes me whole

Fills my heart with love

A blessed man I am

I could ask no more of

 

So, I write of love

My innermost aspirations

Let it consume all of me

Inspirations
