Sorry
When my ghosts
and your guilt
get in the way ..
It seems the only
word left for me
to say, is sorry ..
And truly mean it
for the both of us ..

A nice write, Neville. My wife always says I don't apologise enough.

I said to KP: 'Sorry I called you an old trout KP, though you gotta admit it's true!' lol. I'm horrible to her. heehee.
You are gonna be for it later
Apologies come from one whose caring and benevolent…wise words
Bless you spills .. seeing you here has just made my day .. Neville
It’s my blessings to come back to such awesome poetries
Simple as that ❤️
.............................................. Yep ❣️
Amazing, the power one word can hold, when spoken with sincerity. Kudos dear Nev, complete honesty.
That's such a relief Bella, I wasn't sure you would believe me .. 😎👍
I always do!
That sorrow may be appreciated and take you both to a better path Neville.
Andy
Paths filled with sorrow are often long n narrow .. but thanks for the thought Andy
The hardest word for some and yet when said with conviction, the most powerful of all. Ghosts and guilt, what a combination. A car wreck if not handled with care. Thought provoking brevity here Neville. Sorry a five letter word that can move mountains. Your brevity shows much wisdom my friend.
Too kind by arf .. you wanna try being roofless like what I is darn near after our recent storm 🙂
I love to use that word as acknowledgement sans pledge.
.. no worries, you've nowt to forgive .. unless, nah .. 🙂 🎶
