You know Val?

You know Val? St Valentine

He lived up to around 270AD.

Did you meet him in person

As Goldfinch and I did?

 

It's a swoony day for me and KP

But wait - no! It never is....

On Valentine's Day and any day

I have to face the horror

Of kissing an old trout

 

I say to her each day, words of love:

'Morning, Mrs Blubbery Botox

You're looking more trout-like each day!' heehee.

 

But she tickles me with her tickling-stick

I can't give ya full details of that

Or it'll be YOU swooning!

It's a ghastly sight

 

'Oh go on!' says Fido

'Give them all the details

But be sure to mark poem 18+ if you do!'

          An aged poem of passion on love's special day. Like a fine wine love grows better with age but passion like a beer goes flat and darkens with a bitter taste. Great write Orchi

            Yeh - I got the thought,, wrapped it up ready to send, but then what about leakage..... encased it in asbestos (gotta get rid of the stuff some how) and then steel, but the postal service wouldn't accept it - too heavy.
