Tune: Thornbury
('Thy hand, O God, has guided')
Psalm 105 v.1-11
*********
O give thanks to the Lord, sing
Call on His name, praise bring
Make known His deeds among all
People, and on Him call
Sing unto Him psalms, tunes make
E'en for His good name's sake
Talk of all His works wondrous
His ways shown unto us
Glory in His holy name
That ever stays the same
Let the heart of them rejoice
That seek the Lord, their choice
Seek the Lord, his strength always
Continue nights and days
Seek His face sure evermore
His presence e'er adore
Remember His works marvellous
That He has done for us
His wonder and His judgement
He speaks to penitents
You are of Abraham the seed* (*descendants)
His servant, he does heed
You, and of Jacob*, His chosen (*or Israel)
Praise Him now once again
His is the Lord our God, He
His judgement in earth, see
His covenant He remembered
Has not His grace deferred
For it does stand for ever
And it shall fail never
To thousand generations
Made unto all nations
With Abraham, Isaac, did make
Was for His own name's sake
Covenant, and Jacob too
Granted these blessings true
Said, Unto you I will give
Canaan's land, you will love
There reside, your inheritance
By His good providence

Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
Topic aside , this leads with logic that adds strength and credibility to the ending , and it sticks to a fussy format. Props on the write.
Thanks B.
