Guiness Is Good For You.

All my long life it has been there

And I have drunk it very often.

In pubs and clubs,

At dances and shows,

It is always behind the bar

And I enjoy every pint,

But I don’t go mad,

I may only drink a couple,

A couple of Guiness.

The best I have had

Was in Ireland

Where I used to go fishing,

Fishing with my mates.

But recently

I have found a new Guiness,

One without alcohol.

One that completely surprised me

As I thoroughly enjoy it

And have a can of it at home,

And do so most evenings,

And it doesn’t harm me at all

As it has no alcohol.

They say Guiness if good for you,

But this Guiness 00 is better for you.

So to you all I say,

      Guiness is good for you., I agree. The best is brewed in Ireland. I always have a Guiness when I visit Dublin, but it doesn’t travel well. I am intrigued by alcohol free Guiness? It could be on my shopping list now Andy. Have a good Wednesday.

        Thank you Cassie. Yes Irish Guiness is by far the best but a few weeks ago I saw it in the supermarket and thought I would give it a go and it totally surprised me, it now has a very good reputation.

            Nicely done, Andy. I've heard so many good things about Guinness 00. I do like other low alcohol beers too. Shipyard do a Low Tide version.. that's very nice too. 🙂

              Didn't know that. Not sure it's available where I'm at. I love a beer but am picky as to which and draft is a favorite of any type. Nicely written Andy.

                Yes I am picky too about proper draught beers but this certainly di surprise me as to how good it is.

                I've drunk Guinness quite a few times in the gorgeous city of Dublin ice cold, but what makes a Guinness even better is the company of a live band, you just took me back to the days I used to hang out in temple bar on weekends from London. Fabulous. 🤗
