Accidental Poet



 

Deep down in me

There’s a thirst I can’t deny

A thirst I must quench

If I am to survive

 

A voice of passion

That needs to be heard

To touch the passion in you

Your emotions I wish to stir

 

If I can be so bold

As to ignite a fire

Within you to write

Poetic words to inspire

 

If we inspire each other

Then we all touch that passion

A passion we all share

A unified poetic action

 

For within us all

We all have that thirst

To touch our deepest source

A poet’s undying curse

      Your passion never fails to make the reader sense it in your heart 🌹 A.P every so often I send my work to be published, it never fails to pass but then, they ask me for money and I always say thank you , but no thank you, it makes me feel somewhat delusional but after a while I again feel that urge to write even better, I guess for me it's an acknowledgement rather than a money thing but I just wanted to share this with you because your words brought it out of me to want to share. Your worth is enormous my friend in every way.

        Thank you Teddy. Maybe you're not aware, or maybe you are. But my understanding is that you don't need to send it anywhere at any cost to you. If you write a poem and put your name or Pseudonym on it and then post it like here in MPS, then you have published it yourself. I could be wrong, but that's how it was explained to me years ago. Thank you for all your support and your worth is equally as valuable to me. 🌹😉👍
