On my radio

One of many songs

To remind me of her

In the cradle of Sharon

 

As I often review

The pages of my life

So many songs

A vehicle of memories

 

Many of those songs

All lead back to her

The Queen of my heart

My first and last love

 

On my cell phone

I have a play list

All of these songs

At my fingertips

 

While driving in my truck

She’s there with me

Listening to the music of my heart

Adoring every heartbeat

 

Songs of my life

Songs of my love

All with her in mind

My mistress of song

          I do find it bitter sweet if I'm honest that this love is only on pages but I know that you will say it's perfect as is this love on paper the love that you have carried all these years . But it's because I am a woman, and I would have loved to see poems written about me if they were of this love. Of course I've had many poems written about me mostly at Halloween 👻 🤣 🌹
