Tune: Laudate Dominum
('O praise ye the Lord')
Psalms 145 - 150 parts
*********
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised
His greatness unsearchable, hymns be raised
One generation shall praise His works unto
Another, and sing His mighty acts anew
Teh Lord is gracious, full of compassion
Slow to anger, great mercy to each one
The Lord is good to all, His tender mercies
Are over all His works, the captives He frees
Put not trust in man, in him no help be
He lives for a while, temporarily
But happy are they who the Lord God have for
Their help, He eternal, comes to our aid sure
Great is our Lord, and He be of great power
His understanding infinite each hour
He lifts up the meek, casts wicked to the ground
Sing to the Lord with thanks, let praises resound
Praise the Lord, earth, sea, sky, where'er you be
Bring voices, instruments, join joyfully
Let all things that have breath unite in accord
To praise the Almighty and eternal Lord

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
Thanks 2. You ceased?!
Long ago.
It's that slow to anger part that I worry about along with casting the wicked to the ground. This does not bode well. Good write Orchi
Thanks SB. Yet it's said elsewhere that it's us humans who should be slow to anger.
KP casts herself to the ground, when begging me for more botox money! lol.
Beautiful message, especiall the last stanza where everything comes together "unite in accord", where we all should be. Happy Weekend Orchi!
Thanks B. Re: the breath. I held my breath24 hours one day. I did it but didn't feel well after it! Eh? lol. Well, I was trying to save the planet some air. heehee.
I'm impressed that you held it for 24 hours, have you notified Guinnes, that's probably a world record. lol
Yes lol. You gonna try it? Makes sense to me - saving the planet some air! lol.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
