Just as the factual realities
That we know today
Were the future
Of distant yesterdays
The future tomorrows
Beyond our imagination
For better or worse
Its real, not animation
The writing has always been on the wall
Only which wall should we read?
For the future of the world
Not always easy to see
We should all know, the day would come
Humanity’s ultimate test
Prepare for the worst
Hope for the best
We can pray for divine intervention
Or we could hold ourselves accountable
Live together with compassion for each other
If we all try, world love is obtainable
For it is why we were born of this Earth
To live peaceful lives
Love and respect for all living souls
A natural compromise

As the Hippies say AP, "Make love, Not war!"
Andy
Yeah, like PEACE man. ✌️☮️ Thanks Andy. 👍
Good write AP.
I'm still on this eternal search for 'tomorrow'. When it gets here, it's always 'today'. Can't fathom it out. Doh! lol.
Oh Orchi, that reminds me, tomorrow called and left a message for you. Said you need to pick up the pace and stop lagging behind in yesterday. 😝
Sounds like a note from 'Confused from.... dunno what town!' lol.
aah, KPVILLE? 😁
Yup - I remember! lol.
Beautiful, and may I say, I hope if you are in view of the full eclipse today that you truly enjoy the magic. 🌹
Well, I'd like to, but I don't have a pair of those special glasses to view it with. I might look in the stores to see if they have some. Thanks, Teddy, for reading. 😝
Beautiful sentiment here AP. World peace, if only that was possible. Wanted by the majority, wrecked by a few. So enjoyed your posted music, Wonderful World to accompany your words. Have a great day.
Thank you Cassie, You have a great day too. 😊👍
You have captured the trifecta of poetic perfection in this poem: incredible verse, perfect song by beloved artist and picture of hand held love. This was a delight from beginning to end, with a message that resonates through all of time. Stunning!
WOW, I did all that? Thank you Bella. Always appreciate your visits. 😊👍
You did that and more my friend!
Simple as that and quite bloomin brilliant too my friend ..
So beautifully crafted & should be made into a universal law .. Neville
