A Man With a Bucket and No Hat
a man with a bucket
and no hat,
alone in the desert ..
is either
one of three things ..
maybe just
very unlucky, or lost ..
or quite
possibly a bit of a twat ..

On the other hand, a bucket makes a very solid hat!
You think of everything don'tcha eh'
You must have a hat in the desert!!
Andy
....................... of course

We all know what you are ....................................... 🐭
Nicely done, Neville. 🙂 I read that last line in a kind of John Cooper Clarke voice.
You should be on the telly .. Cheers Tom
He is unprepared. He is no Boy Scout. The bucket is of no use if there is no water. A hat may have served him better. If he is lost in the desert, he is in trouble. He needs to be found and quick. Have read this one several times Neville. A search party is on the way.
Thanks for seeing it my way Cassie ..
Could be a beggar
Lol. Funny stuff.
Cheers Thomas
Missed out on this one first time round.
I challenge the assumption that he is required to be only one of three things……
Nope, I'm told he can multi-task
You're downright hilarious with this pretty number of a reflection, causing me to shake with laughter. Argh! Rereading only makes me shake with laughter the more. Delightfully rendered with excellent imagery and a distinctly haunting poignancy. I love it! Thank you very much for sharing. You're too fun!
Thanks for helping to make the whole thing worthwhile Missy .. Neville
