Accidental Poet

What is it

That holds me back

The change in my moods

The self-encouragement I lack

 

The hesitation of my thoughts

A disengagement of actions

And just when I think I’ll find my way

I’m infested with distractions

 

Clarity among the missing

Must get some sleep

The Sun coming up

My conscience to reap

 

A new day to navigate

A new barrage of hocus pocus

Seems everything’s a blur

Must try to focus
