Eventually we all cross that bridge
The bridge to the other side
Where we hope and pray
Our life on Earth qualifies
Upon entry there
Our loved ones who went before us
Greet us with open arms
Even tails wagging amorous
Our diseases and injuries
All healed making us like new
Our hearts together again
Our souls rejoicing too
The passing of life
We all know is inevitable
The pain we experience
Physical and emotional
But after crossing over that bridge
The pain is taken away
We’re surrounded with love
With all our loved ones anyway

Thanks Andy. Appreciate your visits and compliments. 😁👍
I know this all too well. Loss is hard.
It is hard on us here in the physical world, but the crossing over part relieves us of that pain. And while here, knowing that makes it easier for us when our loved ones cross over. And its never good-bye, but till we meet again. 🌹 Thanks GenXer.
That is true. Thank you for a better perspective AP
