With Us To Eternity.

Goldfinch60

We sat in the Chapel,

Friends all around.

We were asked to light a candle,

Light a candle of delight,

Or of sorrow,

Or not light a candle at all

It was entirely up to us.

I could not refuse

And lit a candle,

Spoke of my absolute delight,

Delight of Mary,

Mary and I.

We had found each other

And together we go forward

Into a life together

Knowing that Our God

Is looking down on us

And smiling at our joy

Which will be with us,

With us to eternity.

Argh! KP with me for eternity! lol. Never been to a Unitarian Chapel.

    • Goldfinch60

The Unitarians are much more open in their beliefs Orchi.

Thanks Gold. IT's not 'beliefs' that I have so much trouble with, as 'money-grubbing places' - come join us, (you'll soon be skint!). They whisper that bit in brackets.

sounds like a sensible idea to me ..

Sounds like a decent idea, what ever lights your fire. 💜

Thank you Teddy, it looks good to me.

Far be it for me, D. Dave, atheistic agnostic, to be so presumptive as to take on the role of Religious Counsellor, but should your recent spiritual exploration prove in some way not suited Andy, then you could always try the Quakers.

(Whom I admire, given a friend who practises).

Whatever happens Dave I will always go my own way anyway. Thank you for your kind comment,

              Andy
