Outsiders
Nowhere, is as cold as here,
nor as vast,
yet with no place to hide,
or to shelter
from all of this preventable
fallout, indeed
we are hopeless outsiders ..
Somewhat
fragile and inextricably lost ..

Neville this metaphoric poem resonates out of my past into my present. Remembering walking the vast open expanses at times lost and now with age those expanse become something else but the same. Great write

Eastern promises are mostly hot air, but (I believe the number is 15) blasts worldwide and we no longer have a planet that can sustain life. So, whoever is guarding the big red button should shoot anyone who tries to push it. - Phil A.

A poem which I have now read several times. Included in The Making of a Broken Man which is an another cracking anthology from you Neville. Read from back to front, front to back and at random:) The final three lines particularly meaningful and I am sure relatable to many at times of their lives.
