The wind blows so strongly,
Bringing leaves to the ground,
I walk with nature longingly,
As Autumn starts to abound.
The green of the trees is turning,
As the artwork starts to show,
I see the trees start burning,
As Nature begins its glow.
My favourite time is coming,
Bringing beauty to my eyes,
My heart begins its drumming,
As Summer becomes a guise.
So come on Autumn, come home to me,
And fill me with your wonderful beauty.

Mine as well Teddy, thank you.

Argh! Stay a bit longer Summer, please! Some trees in our area don't lose their leaves until near November.
Sorry Orchi, Autumn is coming.

Not until about Sept 21st, when my diary says 'Autumn begins'?
And you have done Autumn justice, Andy.
Most kind Dave, thank you.

I'll jump on board the autumn train, and be in very good company. Love this poem. I'm hoping that conditions will be just right for a spectacular autumn for all of us. Wonderful tune to go with!
I will see you on that train Bella and we will ride into a marvelous Autumn.

Woo Woo, all aboard!
Autumn is my niche. Me loves! From your choice selection of a musical accompaniment to this delectable tribute to the season in all its seduction as Death woos ever so gently, I'm left half hugging myself.
Thank you for your kind words CM.

Amen to Autumn loving. She's a bit early this year. Perhaps, because the Summer was so hot. Which I think means more brilliant than normal coloring. Nicely spoken, Andy. - Phil A.
Yes Phil Nature's artwork may well b e more vibrant this coming Autumn.
