Rest, quietened soul, now in your Lord do rest
In Him be blessed
Or with praise high, his glories now express
And Him confess
Retain sweet melody within your heart
Yet also share His life in every part
He great Creator, Lord of life, of all
Now hear His call
All beauteous made through Christ's salvation sure
Made clean and pure
Redeemed, restored, unto your Saviour dear
His presence e'en within souls, He is near
Peace now be bid to troubling anxious thoughts
Him you have sought
And called upon Him, prayed for peace serene
It shall be seen
In lives submitted, seeking now His will
He gives that peace and guides through good and ill
Light of life true, your bright beams shine around
And you are found
In each life's page, each corner turned, each way
Each fresh new day
O to grow more into Christ's image whole
Transformed, change, body, spirit, and our soul
So our each step, assured for us His plan
[For] Each woman, man
Child, young or old, whate'er our status be
He does us see
Encaptured in His love, His grace each day
Welcomed, accepted, none e'er turned away
