Fallen Angel

Tony36

Once an Angel full of grace

Banished from Heaven in disgrace

Now tormented upon this Earthen sod

Wings once white as pure snow

Now black as coal

Her Heavenly voice now scratchy and hoarse

Her garments once blazed like the sun

Now dark as night

Lost Now for all eternity

Fell from paradise

Must walk the Earth

Her wings no longer fly

La dee! September 22nd is eerily the day, it beginneth to appear, for lamenting Eve's fall from grace, eloquently mourned to effect until the very rain falling steadily beyond my sliding door seems to augur the very heavens weeping. Oh me! I swoon, I swoon!
Well, well, well. Beautifully rendered with excellent details and haunting poignancy. Thank you very much for sharing. [I am sorrily befuddled at this rate.]

Fallen angels there seem to be many a sad thing. Nicely done Tony

Maybe there is more to this tale, I believe redemption is possible. Well said.

I am sure that your angel will still be with you Tony.
