Notice of absence from rengoku
if I’m off I’m probably punching my bed in anger
if I’m off I’m probably punching my bed in anger
I don’t want you to end up like me
dying slowly as God calls for me,
its sad but I’m gonna lose,
I don’t want you to find out that
my state of loss is more than I can take,
you don’t know how much you,
mean to me,and it makes me cry to see,
that you still love me......
but I don’t hate you....
I don’t wanna lose but it looks so destined
for me,well, love helps but hate hurts
i don’t know how to take these emotions
many more....
my grandma said:don’t lose the love you
find,but I can’t help but think
my words hurt anyway so what’s the point?
i do love you, more than you could ever
know, but I don’t want to hurt you by
bringing you where I go,down my dark
path of hate, where vengeance is all I know...

Great job!
"...vengeance is Mine, I will repay, saith the LORD--"(Rom 12:19; Deut 32:35)
Beyond beautifully rendered with a haunting poignancy, how charmingly this takes the reader's heart in hand, concluding so perfectly. Thank you very much for sharing. Love you.

'See ya - off for my afternoon nap (great yarning with you).
such a bittersweet poem, i love the theme of loving someone so much that you must let them go. not wanting them to go down the same dark road you're on, because you love them so.
beautiful!
Thank you so much!!!
