I hear just a bit of touchiness in this. I better measure my words well in this comment and may already have stepped over my bounds. I always sleep with a machete under my pillow, just in case
I tend to sleep under the mattress these nights wearing a crash helmet and with both barrels cocked .. N

Having watched all the 007 flicks, yes, you Brits would say that. Since there's always more than one way to skin a cat, I think I'll leave it at that. Sweetly rendered in to the point brevity with fascinatingly telling details and a none too subtle poignancy, thank you very much for sharing.

All I have done in the category of firearms presently is secure my foid, beyond that, nothing, since I'm a firm believer in there being more than one way to skin a cat. I've heard glocks are top notch. I've heard other things too.

I almost hesitate to say in this judgmental world, but I am also armed to the teeth. Better to have it and not need it...
There are hardly any hand guns legitimately held or owned over here .. there is an increasing number of illegally possessed ones tho' and tasers are a no no unless used by the police .. knives are frowned on and illegal to hold & machetes too unless working on a sugar plantation .. p.s there are no sugar plantations over here ..
