Gitanes

Neville

Gitanes

the light there was

exquisite ..

a bit like Florence

the sun was

always overhead ..

still, it was

time for him to go ..

she really

wanted ice-cream

but instead,

they both shared

one last

French cigarette ..

before he

hit that road again ..

Errotic yet as ephemeral as that smoke from the cigarette while the noir feel seems to linger long after. Very nicely done Neville

Argh. I am sorely tempted to include a fitting clip from National Lampoon's Vacation, but as it wouldn't be a link in this box, I'll spare you.
Oh, but how exquisite this delicious piece is! How expertly rendered with daintily perfect imagery and a subtly tantalizing poignancy. Thank you very much for sharing!
