i was sitting in the meadow underneath a tree
a meadow lark was singing his silver song to me
singing loud and clear his silver melody
everynote in tune every note in key
my heart began to melt when he began to croon
took my breath away when he sang his lovely tune
i wont forget the day i sat beneath the tree
or the meadow lark that sang his song to me

La, what delightful scenes this conjures sweetly up! Rendered beautifully with a tenderness and irresistible poignancy, not to mention excellent imagery, this is altogether too lovely. Thank you so very much for sharing.
