Thad Wilk

IF~ the moon and stars above

       should e'er forget to shine,

       I will always have those

       sparkling eyes of yours to

       gaze upon, so heavenly divine.

IF~  the magnolia trees with their

       fragrant blossoms cease to bloom;

       the sweet essence of you my love,

       would still fill every room.

IF~  the bluebirds and the robins

       were no more to sing with glee;

       each time I hear your whispers of

       love, 'twould insure this harmony.

IF~  all these joys that I have found

       in you were taken away that we

       now share; nothing in this whole wide

       world, could mask the pain I'd bare~

          Good words Thad that lead to that unanswered question in our lives:

          If only.....?
