An ocean of ink
A pen on the brink
Of understanding the poet
An ocean of mud
The color of blood
Out of the heart of a poet
An ocean of tears
Daggers and spears
Haven’t yet killed the poet
An ocean of water
Hands of the potter
Crafted the heart of the poet
An ocean of love
Is barely enough
To hold the words of the poet

This one reads at a gallop and like a rider on the horse one can feel each beat. I usually don't like repeating lines in poems but in this case the opposite was true it gave force and rhythm to the poem giving it more and more inertia. Lovely
